Location: Wixom, MI – Must be willing to work onsite 40% of the time

About the Role:

We are seeking an Application Engineer that has knowledge of and/or wants to learn HIL Simulation and the Testing of Electronic Control Units (ECUs). As a part of the Application Engineering team, you will work with clients to define and achieve the testing scenarios. If you like working with leading HIL Technology and creating cutting-edge control domains, then you may be the resource we are looking for!

Qualifications That Make You a Great Fit:

  • Experience with Embedded Controls Systems within Mechatronics and/or Automotive Control Systems
  • Experience with Model Based Development – Matlab and/or Simulink
  • Knowledge of In-Vehicle Communication Networks – such as CAN, LIN, FlexRay
  • Understanding and/or knowledge of HIL Simulation Systems

Additional Skills That Make You a Great Fit:

  • Bachelors or Masters Degree in Electrical or Computer Science/Software Engineering
  • Programming experience with C, C++ and/or Python
  • Excellent communication skills

What You Will Be Responsible For:

  • Design, configuration and application of our HIL Simulators for customer’s ECU testing needs
  • Development of Test Automation Projects
  • Modeling of physical systems for HIL simulation
  • Specialized support of HIL systems and modules – including at customer locations
