The Methodical Group – CEO
In 2011, he was asked to join the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) as the architect for CancerLinQ which is a multi-year initiative that harnesses the power of ‘big data’ to help practicing physicians distill massive volumes of aggregate oncology patient data from across the country into meaningful information that supports research as well as the delivery of high quality, high value care at the bedside. After having successfully completed the CancerLinQ prototype, development of the business model and plans, and the creation of a subsidiary LLC for CancerLinQ, Mr. Mann left ASCO in November of 2014. In 2013, after several years of ideation, Mr. Mann co-founded a non-profit organization – SHARE For Cures – which sought to empower the patient community to use their individual health data to advance medical research and save lives. SHARE For Cures was featured as part of the White House Cancer Moonshot Initiative in 2016. Between 2014 and 2018, Mr. Mann also worked with two oncology patient research initiatives aimed at accelerating disease research, improving quality of care, and clinical trial enrollment through analytics and natural language processing. Mr. Mann is now the CEO of The Methodical Group, and its global subsidiary entities which provide consulting and staffing services to a variety of organizations involved with health information technology, clinical care and research. Since 2006, Mr. Mann has published over 50 papers on the topics of improving Health Information Technology, improving the quality of patient care and outcomes, as well as on population health and Big Data in Healthcare.
